About us.

VET-GmbH was founded in 1999 in Hessisch Lichtenau (near Kassel) and has since developed into one of the leading plant manufacturers in the field of enamelling technology. For many years, our company was based at this location, employing 15 staff members.

In the heart of Germany, we have built a strong network of experienced and skilled partners, enabling us to respond flexibly and individually to all customer inquiries.

Starting in September 2025, you will find us at our new location in Alheim-Heinebach – a move that opens up new perspectives for the future.

Our committed and motivated team plans, realises and assembles complete enamelling plants and individual components that are used in the field of enamelling technology worldwide. After the sale of our systems, it is particularly important to us that our systems remain safe and reliable in use for you. Therefore, our service staff is always available for inspections as well as repair and service work.

Site Manager (f/m/d)

Your Tasks:

  • Monitoring and managing all assembly and installation activities
  • Supporting our projects during the construction phase and providing after-sales service
  • Coordinating the interfaces between the technical trades and the companies working on site
  • Ensuring quality, safety standards, and compliance with all applicable regulations on the construction site
  • Tendering for construction work
  • Awarding subcontractor services
  • Preparing quotations for planning service and repair work
  • Performing assembly, service, and repair activities
  • Communicating and coordinating with customers and suppliers

Your Profile:

  • Completed vocational training in plant engineering or metalworking
  • Basic knowledge of electrical engineering is desirable, but not mandatory
  • Ideally, several years of professional experience in industrial assembly
  • Willingness to work abroad on a temporary basis
  • Strong leadership skills and team-oriented approach to work
  • Committed and flexible approach to work – even for short-term assignments
  • Basic skills of MS Office and other PC applications
  • Class B driver’s license
  • Good German and English language skills

Automation Engineer (f/m/d)

Your Tasks:

  • Planning, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automated systems and control systems
  • Programming and design PLC control systems and visualization/HMI systems
  • Integration of sensors, actuators, and robotics into production processes
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolve faults in automated systems
  • Collaboration on projects for the automation and digitalization of production processes
  • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and operating manuals
  • Monitoring and management of assembly activities
  • Supporting our projects during the construction phase and provide after-sales service
  • Performing occasional mechanical work on systems
  • Tendering for construction work
  • Awarding subcontractor services
  • Collaborating with internal departments such as design and project management

Your Profile:

  • Completed degree or state-certified technician (m/f/d) in electrical engineering, automation technology, or mechatronics
  • Ideally, experience in plant constructions or special-purpose machine construction
  • Experience in programming and commissioning PLC systems (focus on Siemens) and EPLAN
  • Familiar with control technology, fieldbus systems, and HMI/SCADA systems
  • Willingness to work abroad for on-site projects
  • Independent, structured manner, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
  • Good skills in MS Office and other PC applications
  • Class B driver’s license
  • Good German and English language skills
